So, how much does a website cost in Spain? With us, a professional website for a business on the Costa del Sol costs between €1,750 and €4,700, including IVA, plus €29 to €35 a month for hosting and care. Bespoke projects start at €5,250. The rest of this guide explains what sits behind those numbers, the costs that are easy to miss in Spain, and how to compare quotes fairly, with examples from Marbella and Málaga.

Our prices in Spain

The same prices apply in Marbella, Málaga, Estepona and across the coast:

  • Brochure website, €1,750. A short, well-designed site that introduces your business and brings in enquiries.

  • Editable website, €2,350. You change text, prices, menus and news yourself.

  • Website with bookings, €2,950. Tables, appointments, classes or viewings booked online.

  • Online shop, €4,700. Card payments, stock and delivery.

  • Bespoke, from €5,250. Property feeds, client areas, integrations and anything custom.

Hosting is €29 a month for brochure and editable sites and €35 for booking systems and shops. It covers security updates, backups and two email addresses on your domain.

Check whether a quote includes IVA

This is the most common reason two quotes look further apart than they are. Many Spanish suppliers quote prices before IVA, and the general rate is 21%, so a quote of €2,000 "+ IVA" is €2,420 once IVA is added. All our prices include IVA. When you compare quotes, make sure you're comparing the same thing.

What changes the price

Languages

On the Costa del Sol, many businesses need Spanish and English, and some need more. A second language means a second set of pages, ideally written for how people search in that language rather than translated word for word. We write Spanish and English ourselves; other languages come from your translator.

What the site has to do

A site that shows information costs least. Every action you add, such as booking, paying, filtering properties or logging in, adds design, building and testing time.

Connections to other systems

Property portals and CRMs, booking platforms and stock systems each work differently. Linking to them is where costs rise fastest, so we quote that work individually.

Words and photos

If your text and photos are ready, projects move faster. If they need writing or taking, allow for it in the budget and the timetable.

Spanish rules add a few pages that a site in many other countries wouldn't need:

  • Aviso legal. Your business details, as the Spanish e-commerce law (LSSI-CE) requires.

  • Privacy policy. How you handle personal data under the GDPR and Spain's data protection law (LOPDGDD).

  • Cookie consent. A banner that lets visitors accept or refuse non-essential cookies, following the Spanish data protection agency's guidance.

  • Accessibility for online shops. Since 28 June 2025, many online shops must meet accessibility requirements under Law 11/2023; microenterprises are exempt.

We build these pages and the cookie banner into every site. The legal wording itself should come from your gestor or lawyer, which may be a small extra cost on their side.

Running costs to budget for

  • Hosting and care. €29 or €35 a month with us, including updates, backups and email.

  • Your domain. A .com or a Spanish .es. .es domains are run by Red.es; check the current registration conditions on dominios.es if you want one.

  • Extra email addresses. Two are included; each extra one is €1 a month.

  • Payment fees. An online shop pays a percentage of each sale to the payment provider.

  • Changes after launch. On an editable site you make most changes yourself; ask what small changes cost on any other site.

Marbella and Málaga: same prices, different needs

The packages cost the same, but what goes into them differs. Marbella businesses often sell to international customers, so multilingual pages, property search and premium photography matter most. In Málaga, more businesses sell to clients across Spain or abroad and need credibility first: clear services, case studies and fast pages. Smaller towns along the coast often need a straightforward site with bookings and a strong Google Business Profile.

Three example budgets

These are typical business types, not real clients:

  1. A beach restaurant in Marbella. Menu, photos, events and table bookings in Spanish and English: a booking website at €2,950, plus €35 a month.

  2. A consultancy in Málaga. Services, team, articles and a contact form the firm updates itself: an editable website at €2,350, plus €29 a month.

  3. A property developer in Estepona. Development pages, availability and enquiry forms linked to their CRM: bespoke, from €5,250, quoted after scoping.

How long it takes

A brochure website is usually live within three weeks. Booking systems and shops take around two months. Bespoke projects are scheduled once the scope is agreed.

Getting an accurate quote

Before you ask for quotes, write down what the site must do, the pages and languages you need, who will provide the words and photos, the systems it must connect to, and your deadline. Then compare what each quote includes, and whether IVA is in the price, not just the total. When you're ready, request a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Do your prices include IVA?

Yes. Every euro price we publish includes IVA, so there's nothing to add at the end.

Are your prices the same in every Spanish town?

Yes. Marbella, Málaga, Estepona and the rest of the coast all have the same packages and prices.

Do I need a .es domain?

No. A .com works well. A .es tells visitors you're in Spain; registration is run by Red.es.

Can my website be in Spanish and English?

Yes. We write both languages and set them up as separate pages, so Google shows each visitor the right one.

We build the legal pages and the cookie banner. The wording should come from your gestor or lawyer, because it depends on your business.
