Costa del Sol Web Design

Web design across the Costa del Sol, town by town
The Costa del Sol runs from Manilva to Nerja, and each stretch of it has its own customers. Web design on the Costa del Sol works best when a site is built for the town it serves: a Marbella estate agent, a Fuengirola language school and a Málaga start-up need very different pages, even if they share a coastline.
Gibraltar Web Studio designs and builds websites for businesses along the coast, from our studio in Gibraltar at its western end. We work by video call and WhatsApp, visit Marbella and its surroundings by arrangement, and write every site in English, Spanish or both.
One coast, many markets
The numbers explain why websites here work harder than most. Málaga airport handled 24.9 million passengers in 2024, more than 20 million of them international, and many of them research restaurants, villas, clinics and services before they land. The area has more than 70 golf courses and 11 marinas, so leisure and property businesses compete for the same visitors. Away from the tourist season, a large resident population of Spanish families and international homeowners keeps local trades, schools and shops busy all year.
What each part of the coast needs from a website
The western coast, Manilva to Estepona
Growing residential areas, golf and new developments: sites that show the area, the property and the services that come with living there.
Marbella, Puerto Banús and San Pedro
International buyers and visitors: multilingual sites, property search, bookings and a premium look.
Fuengirola, Mijas, Benalmádena and Torremolinos
Year-round residents and family holidays: local services, restaurants, schools and activities that need clear prices and easy booking.
Málaga city
Start-ups, professional services and culture: modern sites for businesses selling across Spain and abroad.
The eastern coast to Nerja
Smaller hotels, holiday lets and tourism: direct bookings and a strong presence on Google Maps.
One site or several?
Many businesses serve more than one town. Usually one website with a page for each area works better than separate sites: it's cheaper to run, builds one strong presence on Google, and lets you write something genuinely useful about each place. We'll help you plan which areas deserve their own page.

Working along the coast from Gibraltar
Being at the western end of the Costa del Sol makes little difference to how we work. Projects run on video calls, WhatsApp and email, with design reviews on your own phone and laptop. When a meeting or a photo shoot helps in Marbella, Puerto Banús or San Pedro, we arrange a visit.
Planning for the season
Spring is the best time to launch on most of the coast: the site has time to settle before the summer, when visitors are searching most. For businesses that rely on residents, any time works, but avoid launching in the middle of your own busiest weeks.
Town pages
For the area we know best, see web design in Marbella, with its own pages for Puerto Banús and San Pedro de Alcántara. Further along the coast, see web design in Estepona and web design in Málaga. For businesses that also serve Gibraltar, see web design in Gibraltar. When you're ready, ask for a quote.
Questions about web design in Costa del Sol
All of them, from Manilva and Estepona through Marbella, Fuengirola and Málaga to Nerja. Most work happens remotely; we visit Marbella and its surroundings by arrangement.
From €1,750 for a brochure site, €2,350 for an editable site, €2,950 with bookings and €4,700 for an online shop. Bespoke work starts at €5,250. Prices include IVA and are the same along the coast.
Usually not. One site with a well-written page for each area is cheaper to run and builds one stronger presence on Google. We'll help you decide which areas need their own page.
It depends on your customers. Resident-focused businesses often need Spanish first; tourism and property usually need English and Spanish, sometimes more. We write English and Spanish ourselves.
For tourism, spring, so the site is settled before summer. For resident-focused businesses, any time outside your own busiest weeks.
Both. Every site is built to be found, and we offer SEO in Marbella and Google Ads in Marbella for businesses that want more visitors.
Yes. We can update an existing site for a Spanish audience, add Spanish pages and the legal pages Spain requires, and connect a new Spanish address to your Google Business Profile.
An aviso legal with your business details, a privacy policy and cookie consent that lets visitors refuse cookies. We build them in; your gestor or lawyer should confirm the wording.
